Out in the "backlot" (as we like to call the 1/2 acre of our property where we have no landscaping) we had a rash of weeds pop up out of control after all the rainstorms last month, so my husband decided that instead of spending an entire weekend of backbreaking labor trying to shovel them up or spray them, he would rent a tractor and just mow them over and rip them out of the ground! He was out there for hours just going in circles and moving dirt around! It was funny to watch because you could tell he was having fun. He was so covered in dust by the time he came in the house that when he removed his hat and sunglasses, it looked like he had tan lines!
