Disneyland!

Last weekend Raphael and I went to Disneyland with my family (dad, step-mom, neice, sister, and sister's boyfriend). We left Conner here with my mom and step-dad for his first overnight/weekend away from us. I missed him a lot, but I have to say we did enjoy our time away. We didn't have to worry about feeding and nap times, and we slept great! He did really well at my mom's house too, and didn't give them hardly any trouble.

Disneyland was great! It was a rainy weekend, so my hair was a wreck, but the parks were not crowded at all! In fact, in talking to one of the employees over at California Adventures, it was a record breaking slow day that Saturday. The longest line we had to wait in was about 20 minutes, but most of the rides were only a 5 minute wait. I got to ride Space Mountain for the first time since they remodeled it a few years ago (last year when we were there I was pregnant so I didn't get to ride it), and it is even cooler than it used to be, and is still my favorite ride!

The wonderful thing about Disneyland is that everything they do is 100%. The "castmembers" are friendly and polite ALL of the time, the fireworks show is the best fireworks show I've ever seen, and the whole atmosphere is just exhilarating! I've been there many times in my life, since I was a little girl, and everytime I go it brings back all of those happy feelings from my childhood. I can't wait until my children get a little bit older and I can share those same experiences with them.
