So what's new?

Sorry, but I am a really bad picture-taker. I think my problem is that I am just lazy. It's too much work to take pictures...I have to actually get out the camera and push the button. Who has the energy for that? Nicole may not even read this post because she HAS to have pictures to look at...she just has to, or she'll die.

Well, we have been very busy around here at our new/old house (we moved back to our old house!). We have an acre of land, and have decided to make good use of it. We are in the process of creating a pretty big garden, considering we've never gardened before! We'll either have more veggies than we could ever eat, or they'll all die and we'll have nothing to show for our hard work! But hey, that's how you learn, right? If I can decide to stop being lazy for once, I plan to take some pictures and show you some more details about our little garden project...

Now that I am over the ugliness of the first trimester and don't have to spend every waking minute wishing I were dead, I've had time to notice some other unpleasant pregnancy details...most of which are not new to me, just repeats of the last time. I found (and plucked) my chin hair. I got one with baby C, but didn't notice it until it was embarassingly long. This time I searched for it and eradicated it before anybody could notice!
My stomach is starting to stick out. Strangers wouldn't know I was pregnant, though. I just look like I have bad muscle tone.
By the end of the day I am so tired, I can barely lift my head off the couch to watch tv. I remember a few days after little C was born, my husband said it was nice to have the non-tired Jacque back. I'd never realized how bad it had been. Now I am abundantly aware.
I've begun the futile attempt of lubing myself up with grease twice a day to prevent stretch marks. I did it the first time, and it worked for my stomach, but not for my butt. I actually don't think it makes a difference, but I feel compelled to do it anyways. What if it was the secret to keeping my tummy mark-free?

My work recently laid a bunch of people off, and there is a good chance I will be next, so I am enjoying what time I have left and trying to save some money before I get the big ax at the end of April. Even though I only work two days per week, that will be very hard for me as I have worked there for almost a decade and have grown to love a lot of the people I work with. Sniff.

TTFN!

Oh no! I hope you don't get laid off =( Good luck with your gardening project! Once you've mastered it though, you can teach us all! And quit being so lazy and take a few pictures! Don't you know there are people who miss your pretty face?!!!

Yeah, I want some pictures! I just posted a freaking picture of my pee stick, so you can post some pics of the budding garden! lol. I'm glad you are feeling better and I'm probably jinxing myself by saying this, but I really haven't started to feel sick yet. I just get REALLY bitchy when I haven't eaten in a few hours. That's the worst of it so far, but my husband would tell you that it's pretty bad! poor guy!
