7 weeks

So my special little guy is 7wks old now! I have to take a moment to brag about how wonderful he is...I hate to be one of THOSE people who just brag about how great their life is, but seriously, my life is great! Conner is sleeping right now. (what's so special about that, you ask?!) Well, he went to bed at 9:00 last night, and he is still asleep at 8:15am!!! That means he is about to hit the 12 hour mark of sleeping without waking up to eat! Can you believe it?! I keep wondering what I did to deserve such a wonderful baby. He has only spit up a handful of times since he's been born, and that was when he was about 3wks old. He only fusses when he is hungry or bored. He never gets gassy and we don't even have to burp him anymore. He now only poops one giant poop every day so that we don't have to go through as many diapers. He will eat whatever formula we give him without any problems, and he still breastfeeds just fine. He does eat a LOT during the day, but he has to since he is sleeping so much at night. He sleeps just fine in his crib at night when everything is nice and quiet, but during the day, he takes little cat-naps wherever he can, even if it's noisy wherever we are. He's basically perfect!

Raphael and I also had our first post-baby date night yesterday afternoon. We dropped Conner off at my mom's house and went to the movies and then to eat an early dinner. We saw Transformers, which I was not expecting to like, but actually thought was one of the best movies I've seen lately! We went and ate dinner at Carrabbas, which is one of our all-time favorite places. We had a really nice time. And of course, Conner did really well at my mom's house, which I knew he would.
