We Moved!

Ok, so I am finally able to get back on my computer now after moving this past weekend. Let me say, it will be a long time before I want to move again because moving sucks! We are living in total chaos over here with boxes everywhere still. The problem is that we are still painting and doing some minor construction projects, so we can't put everything away yet. We are very happy to be living closer to work and family, though. Plus, we love it that we can leave our doors open in the evenings to let the cool air flow through the house without having to worry about flys and mosquitos coming inside! There is a part of me, though, that will still miss living in the country. I always loved driving home in the evenings and smelling the fresh cut grass everywhere, and seeing the fields of corn stalks. I loved it that most of the people around us didn't put up block walls, so you could see all of your neighbors from a distance. I will also miss our beautiful house that Raphael and I built together. One day we will probably move back to such a situation, but for now while Raphael is commuting back and forth to work everyday, it's better to be in town and have less maintenance to do around the house.
