CRUISE!

Since I am trying to embrace the whole "live life to the fullest" and "don't put off for tomorrow what you could do today" motto, Raf and I have been presented with a wonderful opportunity to go on a CRUISE to ALASKA in July, and darnit, we're taking it!!! My mom, who is about one week away from a little work sabattical was kind enough to offer to watch the little guy for us for a whole week while we go away. (Oh, and my step-dad deserves some thanks too since he will obviously be helping out as well). So last night we closed our eyes, kissed our tax refund goodbye, and pressed the Book Now button on NCL.com's website. We will be sailing on the Norwegian Pearl on a 7-day, round-trip cruise along the Alaskan coastline in July. We are SOOOO excited. I am a little nervous about being away from my little baby for that long, but I am a firm believer that couples should try hard to spend quality alone time together even after they have children. So, even if it will be hard to be away from him, I know he will be in good hands and it will be worth it. Now I have to go so I can plan our excursions and envision myself flying across a zip-line in the middle of the alaskan wilderness...who hoo!
