July is one of my all time favorite months of the year. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that my birthday is in July! I am also mildly obsessed with the number 7, and since July is the seventh month of the year, it is naturally the best!
The 4th of July is my favorite summer holiday, and I absolutely love to eat strawberry shortcake, beanies and weenies, and just sit around watching the fireworks.
We go to Tennessee every year in July to visit with family and play on the lake. We always have such a great time hanging out, waterskiing, and watching old family movies.
This year it carries even more meaning because my baby boy also has a birthday in July. In fact, we have the same birthday! I'm totally ok with the fact that my birthday will forever be squashed and overshadowed by his birthday! Really, I am.
Overall, it's just a happy time...so Happy July everybody!!!

We live on an acre on the edge of a large city in the Southwest. My husband is a computer nerd and I stay home with our two boys. We were both raised in the big city and never learned any real-life skills until we stumbled upon this little plot of land five years ago. Come on, we know you have a patriotic outfit for both you and Conner that you're taking a picture in and dying to post! Uh, so wish I could go to TN too!! I'm trying really hard to convince Jan that we should move there.... so far, it's not working =(
