We were at my dad's cabin on our actual anniversary, so when we returned from enjoying Thanksgiving up there, we went out to celebrate. My dad and Steph watched C overnight...who hoo! We went out to dinner at The Salt Cellar in Scottsdale...seafood. We shared clam chowder soup, stuffed lobster, and steak. It was really yummy! Then we went to a hockey game. I know that doesn't sound terribly romantic, but we used to go all the time before we had C, and we wanted to do some of those things that we don't get to do that often anymore. My sweet husband surprised me by arranging for the arena to wish me a happy anniversary on the overhead billboard during the second period. He had his camera ready and got the picture below... :)
The next morning, we got up and went to see the new James Bond movie before we picked C up at lunchtime.
We had a great time, in spite of the fact that I was exhausted from only sleeping 4 hours the night before.
